Layla says balloon

She says it when she wakes up and when she gets in the car and when we read Goodnight Moon and when we go to a store… Basically all the time.   She started when she was 11 months old and hasn't let up since.  It comes out like, "Ah-boo".  The girl is completely obsessed with them and as a result, we always have 1 around the house (or a ball, that we try to fake out as a balloon).  I blame it on my folks and the goofy Mansion House Apts streetside promo balloon bouquets.

 Other words she can say:

• mama • dada • boot • this, that...both accompianied by vigorous pointing demanding you to repeat name of object in question about 10,000,000x • cat & hat, which both sound like "at" • light, which sounds like “ite!” • house, which sounds like “ouse” • juice, which sounds like "djoos" • hi • mop • all gone, which she runs together so it comes out as “awgot?”

She also has this high pitched squeal that accompanies an animal sighting. And she still thinks farts are the funniest thing ever, especially her own.
