Conversation with Layla

Below is a snippet from a conversation we had after dinner a few nights ago with this little punk:

Layla: (sitting on Jeff's lap)  "Daddy!  I love you."
Jeff:  "I love you too, Layla." 
Layla:  "Daddy BIG HUG...awwwwww.  Daddy!  Dad!"

Jeff:  "Does Layla love Mommy too?"
Layla: "Mommy need shower."
Jeff: "Mommy needs a shower?  Is Mommy stinky?"
Layla: "Yeah."
Layla:  "Mommy stinks like da poo-poo.  P.U."
Jeff: "Does Layla love Mommy?"
Layla:  "Stinky Mommy".

For the record, I had taken a shower that morning, even though I fully admit to sometimes bathing with baby wipes on days when taking an actual shower or bath is impossible or low on the list of importance :-)
