Balloon Glow

The annual Great Forest Park Balloon Race was last weekend.  We headed over to the Balloon Glow on the eve of the race.  For those of you who aren't from St. Louis, the Balloon Glow is basically a giant kid-friendly picnic where thousands of people come to the park in the evening to watch all of the balloons inflate and fire up (or "glow") simultaneously.  Layla still LOVES balloons (balloon was one of her first words), so I blocked this weekend out on the calendar ages ago so that we wouldn't miss it.

After that stunt, Jeff & Poppa took Layla for a walk to get her own balloon.
