The 3 of us had a nice day together. After I woke Layla up and fed her, we all snuggled together in our bed and slept in until about 9:30. In the afternoon, we took a nice leisurely walk down to S. Grand and got some ice cream. Layla got to see the fireworks by the Arch last night, so we decided not to mess with the crowds tonight and stay closer to home. There are idiots still setting off fireworks all over the neighborhood...I hope they don't wake up our baby, who is sleeping peacefully right now. Good night!
