Next Week

Yesterday, I asked Layla if she might like to try to go potty before going out in the backyard as all of her little friends were about to arrive for playdate.  She sat on the potty for a minute before standing up and declaring "I'm done."

I looked in the toilet, saw it was empty, and asked, "Are you sure you don't need to potty right now?".  Layla shrugged her shoulders, looked up at me, and said, "I don't need go pee-pee right now, Mommy.  I try again next week."

I love this girl.
