Jeff fed Layla her 1st bottle today with milk that I pumped. We started with just an ounce, which all the books say is about a full feeding for a baby her age. She had already nursed for about 20 minutes, so we were skeptical that she would even finish the milk in the bottle. However, the little sucker gulped it down in about 2 minutes, which unfortunately is about 1/10 the time it took me to pump it!
With a full belly (or so we thought), it was time for a nap on the couch with Dad. As you can see, Jeff fell asleep, but Layla did not...she was rooting and hungry again within a half hour, and I had to feed her all over again. Today is just one of those days--at least we got a few cute pictures in the meantime.
Awesome! She's gonna have some more meat on her bones soon then! (can't wait to see her with rolls on her little legs) :) Love you guys!
